Story Time and Craft

Join us for magical storytelling and creative crafts! Our resident bookseller-from-abroad, Freya Blyth, has curated four wonderful sessions for ages 2-6, each with an enchanting theme set to spark imaginations. Kids Art Classes

Let your child’s creativity shine in our fun and imaginative art classes, perfect for kids aged 6-10! Reading Clubs: January
Friday 31 January
It’s after hours in the bookshop and the big green doors are shut for the day, but golden light still spills from the windows onto the paved streets. Inside, readers are nestled on couches, quietly reading in the company of like-minded book lovers.
Our Reading Clubs meet monthly for two hours of reading time. Set amongst thousands of books, cosy couches and warm lamps, this is time to slow down and simply read.

Do you have a young reader that has expressed a wish to live in the bookshop, or perhaps work here someday?
Our Book Clubs are designed for young readers to feel part of the bookshop. They’ll meet like-minded readers, meet up monthly to chat all things stories and have first access to exclusive author and illustrator workshops.

Story Makers
Wednesdays 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Join Freya Blyth on Wednesday mornings for Story Makers! Together we will read stories, sing some songs, and then have lots of fun getting messy and playing with art materials.
Story Makers is best for under 5’s, but everyone is welcome.
