About Sean
Sean E Avery is a teacher, author-illustrator, and designer born in South Africa, living in Perth WA. Internationally he is best known for his breath-taking sculptures that reside in galleries all around the world. Locally he’s best known as the author-illustrator of the best-selling children’s picture book, All Monkeys Love Bananas.
Sean is an enthusiastic educator who inspires children of all ages. His workshops revolve around his published books, his process and his journey as an author-illustrator/artist. He draws, tells stories, and helps kids make their own stories and ideas shine bright. Examples of Sean teaching writing and illustrating techniques can be found on his YouTube channel.
