Tamara Moss

Tamara Moss is an Australian author and primary school teacher. Her children’s books are the three novels in the Lintang series. Lingtang and the Pirate Queen received a starred review from the School Library Journal, was a Children’s Book Council of Australia 2018 Notable and was shortlisted for the 2018 Readings Children’s Book Prize.

Workshops are best suited for Years 4-6 and run from 45 min to an hour. The three types of workshops available are:

• “Meet the Author”, where students hear about the trials and perseverance required for achieving big things like publishing a book.
• “Make Your Own Mythie”, where students design their own mythical creature with a guidebook entry and illustration.
• “Character Development”, where students create their own character and set them in various situations.
