About Barry

Barry is an Australian author who has written several non-fiction books with a historical basis. His most recent book, Second Innings: On Men, Mental Health and Cricket, looks at mental health, and is suitable for year 10 students and above.

Barry is comfortable teaching and speaking to all year levels. He is a secondary-trained teacher, and has taught in a primary school too! More recently, Barry has taught secondary students as part of the WA Flying Squad. He has also worked as a journalist for 20 years!
